Teaching Guide and Learner Resources

To support meaningful conversations about inclusion, imagination, and friendship, we’ve created a free Teaching Guide and Learner Resources pack to accompany A Dash of Adventure.

Designed for Foundation to Year 2, this printable PDF includes:

• Curriculum-aligned learning outcomes (English, Health & PE, and HASS)

• Before, during, and after reading discussion prompts

• Inclusive classroom activities that encourage empathy and creativity

• Practical guidance for talking about disability in a positive, respectful way

• Extension activities for confident readers

Coming soon – additional early literacy and supported learning resources, including:

• Colouring pages

• Word search activities

• Trace-the-word sheets (e.g. Millie, Dash, adventure)

• Picture matching activities

• Fill-in-the-blanks worksheets using key vocabulary

These resources will be designed to support diverse learning needs and provide flexible options for classrooms, libraries, therapy settings, and home learning.
